We are less than 24 hours out before our big yard sale – turned sidewalk sale to help fundraise our adoption expenses.
So many people have donated items to this sale to help make it what we already believe is a successful event. The words “thank you” simply cannot express our gratitude for all the hard work that has gone into this already. We recognize how gracious it is that so many people would be inclined to give of themselves in such ways. Our friends and family have really gone the extra mile to make this event a success. And when we say extra mile, we mean it! One person has even driven from Oxford, Ohio just to bring some items. Another has let us use his truck on several occasions. And everyone else is giving with compassion and thoughtfulness as well.
This is the definition of love. The apostle Paul wrote about the excellence of love in 1 Corinthians 13 and we believe this has been demonstrated to us.
