As many of you know, adoption can be expensive no matter if it's stateside or international, and our adoption is certainly not excluded from from this fact. We have a goal to come up with a large portion of money over a short period of time and we would like to ask you to partner with us with no obligation.Call it pride or maybe humility, but fundraising is not something we are eager to do because it often seems like such a burden for everyone else. We don't want to be a burden to anyone, but a blessing. However, we know that without the help of God we can't make this happen on our own. So that's why we're asking first of all that you would be in prayer for us that we can generate the funds needed to complete our adoption.
Second, we would like to ask you to help us generate some fundraising ideas. There are many different ways of creatively raising money whether it is through auctions, yard sales, or benefit dinners. If you think of any creative ideas or would like to make a suggestion, please let us know by emailing us.
And lastly, perhaps a way you would like to support us is by donating financially to our adoption. There are two ways you can do this:
- You can send a check or money order directly to us and we will add it to our account, or
- You can visit this link www.awaa.org/forms/payment.aspx and make a donation directly to our adoption organization's Eternal Family program (a program of American World Adoption Association). This method will enable you to be provided with a receipt of your donation from AWAA for your financial records.
1. Select 'Eternal Family Program' from the "Select a Fee Category"
2. Fill out the necessary information about yourself, and in the "Notes" section, enter Michael & Zehra Waits to ensure that your donation goes into our account.
3. Enter a donation amount and press continue.
You will be sent confirmation of your transaction and the necessary information for your financial records, and we will be notified as our account expands.
We are grateful for the support that we continue to receive and are blessed to be loved and cared for by so many. If you are unable to support us financially, please consider becoming a prayer partner with us. We would love to send you a bookmark to remind you of our prayer needs and add you to an emailing list for important updates and prayer requests.
Most importantly, we are thankful that God has allowed us to come this far and that He has chosen us to be part of adoption.
